WORKSHOP SERVICE ENGINEER – FALKIRK

We are Palfinger UK. We’re the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Construction and Recycling Cranes. We’re also the UK’s largest national Lorry Crane provider that offers in-house assembly, bespoke body-building and servicing.

We have an immediate opening for an engineer to join our workshop team in Falkirk. This is your chance to transition your skills and become a specialist crane technician, maintaining some of the world’s most advanced and innovative lifting machines.

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 08:00-17:30

Friday 08:00-17:00

Key Duties will Include:

 

This is a dedicated workshop role with a responsibility for minimising customer downtime. You’ll be trained to become a Palfinger expert, providing engineering support to our own brand of lorry loader cranes. This includes:

  • Routine servicing
  • Reactive repairs
  • Thorough examinations/LOLER inspections

The Ideal Applicant:

All our employees receive comprehensive manufacturer training and mentoring.

Interested applicants need to possess demonstrable experience of maintaining and repairing similar hydraulic lifting equipment such as construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGV’s, Forklifts, taillifts etc.

You should hold recognised certification such as an apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a closely associated discipline.
