This is a part-time administration role based in our busy agricultural machinery dealership where you will play a key part in delivering first-class customer care.
You’ll work alongside our experienced Service Manager and Service Technicians to ensure the smooth administration of our local operation covering all things admin.
Hours:
Please only apply if you can commit to the hours below, as these cannot be changed:
- Part-time, 25 hours per week.
- 5 days per week – Monday – Friday.
- 09:00-14:00 or 09:30-2:30pm.
Key Duties will Include:
Full training will be provided, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Service Manager with general business admin tasks.
- Raising our engineer’s job cards, writing these up and supporting the scheduling and workflow of the workshop activity.
- Accurately dealing with customer accounts, including sundry and cash accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation and processing of service invoices.
- Updating customers on work progress and responding to customer queries via phone, email or in-person, helping resolve enquiries efficiently.
- Maintaining clear records, ensuring workshop documentation is accurate and up to date.
The Ideal Applicant:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar workshop Service / Administration role, ideally within an Agriculture, Automotive, Engineering, Construction or a Manufacturing setting.
- You must be IT literate and confident in using Microsoft Office and internal IT systems.
- A methodical and process-driven approach with strong attention to detail.
- A confident communicator who enjoys solving problems and helping customers face-to-face and over the phone.
- Live within a reasonable commute of our Toddington Workshop (GL54 5BZ)
