Are you an experienced Service Manager or Workshop Supervisor / Foreman who is ready to take on the
challenge of leading your own team?
If the answer is “Yes”, then we have the ideal opportunity for you at our Stockbridge branch.
The Service Manager will work closely with the Agricultural and Groundcare Service Team to ensure the
efficient, effective and productive use of resources, workshop facilities and equipment. They will advise the
team on best practice and methods of repair, determining and enforcing repair times by monitoring of work.
Good housekeeping of the workshop, including risk assessments, and being accountable for the KPI’s of the
Workshop will be essential aspects of this role. The successful applicant will also ensure timely invoicing,
monthly reviews of turnover and profit, and overseeing the cost of the department.
The supervisory nature of the role will require you to build the best workshop team possible. Identify training
needs across the Workshop Team by conducting regular 1:1s and annual appraisals. You will also be
responsible for health and safety within the team.
As well as being an expert in your field, you will also possess excellent organisational and time management
skills and have a methodical and diligent approach to managing the administration aspects of a busy
workshop. The role will report to and be supported day to day by Service Operations Manager, (Andrew Hannington).
