We are one of the largest agricultural machinery dealers in the country, selling New Holland and Case IH tractors and harvesting machinery, tillage and cultivation equipment – as well as supplying parts, servicing, repairs and used machinery.
Apprentices attend a block release course at college where they receive practical training, working towards a qualification in Agricultural Engineering.
All apprentices are offered training in forklift operation, grinding, welding and health & safety, as well as specialist product training from suppliers.
Most apprentices start during or after the summer holidays, July – September.
Hours:
40 hours a week subject to working hours regulations
Key Duties will Include:
Apprenticeships are usually for 4 years and incorporate day or block release at college to gain the knowledge element of the qualification, with on-the-job practical experience gained in the workplace.
The Ideal Applicant:
Apprenticeships are a great way to get industry experience and skills, in a hands-on working environment.
This training route suits students who prefer a more ‘hands on’ approach to learning. Many of the Managers, Sales Representatives and Heads of Department within the Company joined via the apprenticeship route.
