T H WHITE Energy, Fire, & Security is seeking a skilled and motivated Civils Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety of civil and groundwork tasks on Electric Vehicle Charging projects, ensuring work is completed to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. With sites across the south of England and South Wales, we are looking for someone who can be flexible and able to stay away when necessary.
Hours:
40 hours per week
Key Duties will Include:
- Perform groundwork activities, including excavation, drainage, concreting, kerbing, paving, and other general construction duties.
- Lay foundations, including footings, for EV Chargers
- Operate plant machinery, such as excavators, dumpers, and rollers, in a safe and effective manner (appropriately trained and licensed).
- Follow plans and drawings to ensure work is carried out to specification.
- All other aspects of Groundworks
The Ideal Applicant:
- Previous experience in construction or groundworks is essential for you to be successful in this role
- In addition to your experience, you will ideally have a valid CSCS card NPORS / CPCS (360 Excavator, Dumper etc.) and SWQR (Street works), although we can provide training for the right candidate
- You will also need to hold a full UK driving licence due to the travel involved with this role
