CUSTOMER CALL COORDINATOR

We are recruiting for a Customer Call Coordinator to join the Service Control team based in Devizes. Reporting to the Service Control Team Leader(s), this role is the first- point contact for incoming breakdowns and compliance requests via the telephone and email.

Hours:

Alternating hours pattern:

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm, Friday 8:00-5pm (1 hour lunch break)

Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:00-4pm (1 hour lunch break)

Key Duties will Include:

  • Receiving initial calls or emails from customers reporting an incident with their crane, establishing the exact nature and location of the incident, and entering these details into Palfinger UK operating systems
  • Creating concise service orders in a proficient and timely manner
  • Identifying and escalating queries to the Team Leader as appropriate
  • Assisting the team with overflow calls and process as needed
  • Other ad hoc duties as required such as deputising to cover team holiday and sickness

The Ideal Applicant:

  • You will be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You will be a team player
  • You will be able to work under pressure and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • You will be able to network and build effective relationships with customers and colleagues
  • You will be IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be advantageous

Salary:

£18,780 – £24,000 (based on minimum wage and ability)
