We’re looking for a Service Manager, Aftersales Manager or Operations lead to step into a role with real substance. One where you can shape how a service operation runs and where it goes next.

Hours:

Full Time: Additional hours required to meet operational requirements of the business

Key Duties will Include:

Service leadership
• Lead a team of field-based engineers setting a positive culture of support and growth.
• Oversee a 24/7 engineering service model.
• Improve planning, utilisation, and response across the operation improving our service based KPI’s.

Project Management
• Manage the delivery of automated milking system installations.
• Plan and schedule works with sales teams, customers, and engineers.
• Keep projects on track, balancing multiple installations at once.

Operational improvement
• Bring structure and forward planning into a reactive environment.
• Strengthen systems, processes, and use of service tools.
• Build capability within the team as technology evolves.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • A background in a similar dairy engineering role or an engineering Service Manager / Aftersales Manager or Engineering Operations role within a transferable sector.
  • An understanding of service KPI’s and best practice.
  • A demonstrable track-record managing engineers in a field-based or multi-site setting.
  • An understanding of agriculture, land-based industries, or closely aligned sectors.
  • Practical approach to planning, organisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, earning trust with engineers, colleagues and customers.
  • Full UK driving licence and desire to travel across our territory.
