We are Palfinger UK. We’re the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Construction and Recycling Cranes. We’re also the UK’s largest national lorry crane provider that offers in-house assembly, bespoke body-building and servicing.
Our business is expanding and we’re looking to recruit a Fitter/Fabricator for our Production Workshop based in Falkirk.
Hours:
The team work sociable hours (Mon – Fri), between 08:30 and 17:00, with an earlier finish of 16:00 on Fridays.
Key Duties will Include:
As a crucial member of our team you’ll work in a fully equipped production environment helping to build and assemble our advanced range of lorry loader cranes. Duties include:
- Fabrication and welding of bespoke sub frames
- Fitting sub frames and cranes to commercial vehicle chassis
- Hydraulic plumbing
- Carrying out fitment of components such as pumps, PTO’s, valve blocks and hoses
The Ideal Applicant:
All specialist product training is provided, however its essential that interested applicants have prior mechanical assembly experience and the following skills:
- Basic MIG welding experience
- Fabrication experience
- Hydraulic fitting knowledge
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings
