We have an exciting opening for a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead a small team and implement both
online and offline marketing initiatives. The purpose of this role will be to lead the implementation of
operational marketing activities across multiple channels for the ACDG businesses. This role is
commercially focused, aimed at driving new and repeat business in our sales, service, and parts
departments to meet growth objectives.
Hours:
39 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
Key Duties will Include:
Leadership & Team Development
• Manage, support and develop direct reports, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Marketing Planning & Campaign Delivery
• Deliver targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with seasonal sales goals, supplier
promotions, and brand visibility across all divisions.
Market Research & Insight
• Conduct research and data analysis to uncover trends, inform strategy, support growth, and
enhance customer experience across key industry sectors.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Foster cross-functional and supplier relationships to enhance product marketing, align seasonal
sales efforts, and negotiate cost-effective marketing partnerships.
Data & CRM
• Maintain and segment customer data to enable targeted marketing and build prospect lists
aligned with strategic campaigns.
Reporting & Budget Control
• Monitor marketing budgets, track performance, and deliver insights to support data-driven
strategic decisions.
The Ideal Applicant:

Proven experience as a multi-channel marketer, with both digital and traditional expertise

A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, commercially driven environments

Industry understanding – ideally within the Agricultural or a closely aligned sector, demonstrating a clear grasp of the industry’s unique priorities and challenges.

Familiarity with farming product groups and a genuine interest in machinery

Demonstrable success in campaign delivery, measurement and optimisation

The ability to interpret results and make strategic recommendations

Experience managing staff and budgets

Strong influencing skills to engage stakeholders, generate content, meet deadlines and drive action

Excellent attention to detail, with high standards in proofing and data accuracy

Confidence investigating anomalies and proposing effective solutions
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of WordPress, CMS and SEO best practices
- Good understanding of the print production process.
- 3-5 five year in a marketing role, preferably within the sector (agency or client-side)
- Video editing and creation experience.
- Design tool proficiency or experience in briefing and managing design work.
- Email marketing software usage
- Brand management experience and public-facing representation of a company’s image.
- Basic copywriting and interviewing skills
- Blog/news article writing
- Experience optimising Facebook and Google Ads campaigns
Essential Skills
- Good communicator – ability to effectively articulate views, draft engaging content, with a good command of written & spoken English.
- Ability to write engaging content and clear briefs
- Strong self and team organisation – prioritising, multi-tasking; with minimum supervision.
