Palfinger UK is the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Construction, Recycling and Forestry Cranes. We’re also proud to be one of the largest loader crane training providers in the country.
Our experienced team of instructors deliver a range of ALLMI certified training to ensure owners and operators are fully conversant with current health and safety regulations and operating procedures.
Hours:
42 hours per week Monday – Friday.
Flexibility is required as overnight stays away from home will be required.
Key Duties will Include:
We’re looking to hire an instructor who has a passion for both training and customer service excellence, and someone who is eager to specialise on our lorry loaders.
Once qualified to our ALLMI standards you’ll be working independently at customer sites across the South-west, or from our own locations with the following responsibilities:
- Delivering ALLMI Lorry Loader Courses
- Delivering ALLMI Slinger Signaller Courses
- Carrying out product familiarisation/ new crane handovers to operators and customers
The Ideal Applicant:
- Interested applicants MUST have held a lorry loader operators certificate for the past 2 years.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or machine demonstrator on the same, or similar lifting equipment. Alternatively possess substantial experience as a Lorry Loader Operator looking to move into training.
- We can only consider applicants who live in the Southwest.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a desire to become a specialist trainer.
- An interest in loader cranes.
- Willingness to travel with overnight stays. Typically you will spend 2 nights a week away from home.
- IT proficiency, especially with Microsoft applications.
- A full UK driving license.
