Our aftersales team is expanding in the North, and we are looking to recruit an additional Field Service Engineer, ideally someone who lives around Carlisle or the surrounding region.
This is a rare opportunity to join our growing organisation and maintain some of the world’s most advanced and innovative lifting machines.
Hours:
40 hours a week, worked between our standard operational hours of 07:00-18:00 Monday – Friday.
Additional overtime is available.
Key Duties will Include:
It’s a highly professional environment. We’ll provide you with all the necessary formal manufacturer training, ensuring that you have the specialist technical knowledge necessary to keep our machines performing at their best.
There’s lots of variety – you’ll be providing on-site support to our Epsilon Timber and Palfinger Lorry Loaders. Daily tasks include:
- Regular crane servicing.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on customer sites.
- Performing thorough examinations / LOLER inspections and necessary compliance checks to ensure adherence with industry regulations.
- Providing technical support and training to customers.
The Ideal Applicant:
- Interested applicants need to possess demonstrable experience of maintaining and repairing similar hydraulic/electrical lifting machines- ideally within Forestry/Timber, Agriculture, Construction or an associated sector.
- You should hold recognised certification such as an apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a closely associated discipline.
- This is a field-based role, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
