Hours:
39 hours a week, Mon- Thurs 08:00-17:00 Fri – 08:00-16:00.
Additional overtime (paid at time and a half) is available earlier and later should you wish to earn more.
Key Duties will Include:
You’ll play a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our customers’ agricultural machinery, combining both workshop and field-based service work, including:
• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing tractors, combines, forage harvesters, balers, and telehandlers.
• Conducting advanced fault diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Completing complex repairs.
• Providing first-class technical support and customer service on-site and in the field.
• Maintaining accurate work records and ensuring high standards of safety and presentation.
The Ideal Applicant:
We’re looking for Agricultural Service Technicians with significant agricultural engineering experience, individuals confident in their ability to handle modern agricultural machinery (tractors or combines) to a manufacturer-recognised standard.
You’ll need to have:
• A recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Land based engineering or a transferable qualification.
• Strong diagnostic ability across engines, hydraulic and electronic systems.
• A precise, methodical approach and pride in workmanship.
• A customer-first attitude and the ability to work independently in the field.
• A full UK driving licence and currently live in Frome or the surrounding area.
