Trainee Handover Specialist & ALLMI Instructor

Palfinger UK (part of the T H WHITE Group) is the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Construction, Recycling and Forestry Cranes and branded ancillary equipment. Palfinger UK is the largest national Lorry Crane provider that offers in-house assembly, bespoke body-building and servicing for the entire life of the equipment portfolio it represents.

We are looking for a Trainee Handover Specialist & ALLMI Instructor based in and around Bedfordshire to join our Training Team.

Reporting to the Training and Handover Manager you will be responsible for carrying out handovers of new cranes and delivering ALLMI training.  No experience is necessary as all training will be provided but a passion for delivering an excellent service is vital.

Hours:

Hours:  42 hours a week, with flexibility to meet Customer demand and regular overnight stays as required

Hourly Rate: Starting at the applicable NMW rates

Key Duties will Include:

Day to day duties will include:

Initially shadowing experienced colleagues and attending development courses for a period of 12 to 18 months, with a desired end goal of carrying out the duties stated below.

  • Carrying out new crane handovers at customer premises
  • Delivering ALLMI Lorry Loader Courses
  • Delivering ALLMI Slinger Signaller Courses
  • Carry out product familiarisation to operators and Customers
  • Undertake driving duties as and when required

  • is IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Well organised with a good attention to detail
  • Calm with excellent communication skills and the ability to be patient and understand the needs of delegates
  • Works well within a Team but also able to work comfortably alone
  • Enjoys meeting people
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external customers
